Photovoltaic mounting on flat foil roof

TRITON SOUTH & TRITON EAST WEST

Photovoltaic mounting system on flat roof foils

The TRITON PV flat roof mounting system is an aerodynamic, penetration-free PV mounting system for flat roofs of all types with a pressure-resistant substrate (foil, bitumen, gravel, green or trapezoidal sheet metal roof).
The mounting system can be realized as an east/west elevation with 12° inclination as well as a south elevation with 12° or 15° inclination.

Is a photovoltaic mounting system on a flat foil roof necessary?

Not all photovoltaic mounting systems can be installed on a flat foil roof without problems, as otherwise the flat roof will leak over the years and the different materials between the foil and the photovoltaic mounting will damage the foil.

By using spacers to the metal substructure, you can also use the Triton South or East-West system when ordering the special case of foil flat roofs and thus protect the flat roof.

Installation of the photovoltaic mounting system on a flat foil roof:

Installation is carried out on roof pitches ≤ 3° without roof penetration, only with weighting.
For bitumen flat roofs with a pitch of up to 10°, the TRITON flat roof system can be installed with mechanical anti-slip protection. To ensure a low-ballast overall system, the TRITON flat roof system was not only tested for stability in a WtG-approved boundary layer wind tunnel, but also optimized aerodynamically. This means that even roofs with a low load reserve can be used sensibly for photovoltaics.

A lightning current-capable version of the TRITON system in accordance with DIN EN 62305-3 is also available as an option.

TRITON special features – High degree of pre-assembly

The high degree of pre-assembly and the unique, tool-free assembly with plug-in bolt connections are outstanding.
Chipless installation ensures that the roof cladding remains intact.
Thanks to the pre-configuration of the TRITON system, no time-consuming measuring and adjustment work is required.
