Ground-Mounted PV Mounting System | Solar Park
SILENOS is the flexible PV substructure for ground-mounted systems
and solar parks. Available as a 1- or 2-post system, for driven posts,
concrete foundations or gabions.
The SILENOS PV mounting system is suitable for ground-mounted systems and solar parks of any size. It features a simple, low-maintenance system design as well as flexible adjustment and compensation options. No drilling is required. In addition, a cable duct integrated into the module support rail reduces material and installation effort. This makes SILENOS quick and easy to install in the field.
As standard, 2 or 3 modules are mounted upright. A different arrangement, e.g. transverse mounting, is possible on an individual basis. The module inclination and the length of the tables are adapted to the specific project. Continuous tables feature defined thermal expansion breaks. The SILENOS ground-mounted PV mounting system is suitable for all common modules and is installed either by driving posts, concreting, or tying into gabions.

Stepless compensation of uneven terrain.
The new compensation clamp from T.Werk, THEMIS, aligns the horizontal rail with the terrain. This allows terrain unevenness of up to 30 degrees to be compensated for steplessly without interrupting the tables and without adjustment.
THEMIS is inserted into a keyhole on the crossbar and clamped after the module rail has been placed. The module rail is then screwed to the SILENOS rail holder as usual. For quick installation on site, THEMIS is supplied completely pre-assembled.

- 2 or 3 modules vertically on top of each other, 4, 5 or 6 modules horizontally on top of each other
- Inclination 15° to 25°, special solutions possible
- Customized table sizes, endless tables with defined heat exchange interruptions
- Mounting on the long side of the module, no approval from the module manufacturer required
- GOK module lower edge: 0.8 m, adjustment is possible

The construction of a solar park can enhance the ecological value of certain open spaces. Through the appropriate design of the installation and maintenance management, species-poor arable land or intensive grassland develops into species-rich grassland. This contributes to greater biodiversity. In addition, the soil recovers by removing the open space from intensive arable farming, as biocide and nutrient inputs are reduced.
The installation of photovoltaics on open spaces also pays off economically. Fallow land and converted areas can be put to good use again through sustainable energy generation and generate economic returns. Compared to cultivated biomass, the area efficiency of electricity generation from photovoltaics remains significantly higher. Photovoltaics can generate around 40 times more electricity per hectare per year.
