Extensive or intensive greening of a flat roof offers many advantages. Green roofs insulate in a natural way and at the same time lower the temperatures in the surrounding area. The air quality improves significantly and the building’s energy consumption is reduced. At the same time, green roofs contribute to biodiversity by providing a habitat for plants and animals.

If a photovoltaic system is also installed on the green roof, the ecological balance of the building is further improved and there are additional economic benefits. When installing PV on green roofs, it is important that the elevations are of sufficient height and spaced appropriately so that the plants on the green roof grow optimally and can be easily maintained.

TRITON flora: Innovative PV elevation for green roofs.

TRITON flora is an elevated mounting system for the extensive greening of flat roofs under the photovoltaic system. A distance of 30 cm between the module and the substrate allows the plants to grow optimally. Combined with a gap of 80 centimeters, TRITON flora provides sufficient maintenance paths to care for the greenery and remove shade-casting plants. TRITON flora is installed either in south-facing rows, with east/west or butterfly orientation.

TRITON flora is installed on green roofs without tools using plug-in bolt connections. This ensures the integrity of the roof cladding under the substrate. In combination with the high degree of pre-assembly and optimized logistics, this saves an enormous amount of time during installation on the roof.
