of all types with a pressure-resistant substrate.
There are many advantages to installing photovoltaics on flat roofs: The installation itself is very simple, as are maintenance, cleaning and repairs. Access is much easier, the fitters can move around safely and there is generally no need for scaffolding. In addition, no roof tiles need to be removed. If the installation is carried out by ballasting alone, the roof cladding remains undamaged.
All flat roofs with a pressure-resistant substrate, such as foil, gravel, bitumen, green or trapezoidal sheet metal roofs, are suitable for a photovoltaic system. When selecting the substructure, it is important that it is quick and easy to install as well as flexible in terms of alignment. This means that the available area can be optimally utilized. The PV mounting system should also be installed without penetration and with as little ballast as possible.
