Until now, pitched gable and monopitch roofs with bitumen or foil roofing were difficult or very costly to realize without roof penetration. With our new METIS mounting system, you can now also implement PV projects on these roofs without any problems. The modules are installed parallel to the roof in a cross-rail system with ballasting. Roof penetration is not required for this. The modules only need to be additionally secured against slipping (downhill drift) at the ridge or eaves.
Thanks to a wind assessment by the I.F.I Institute in Aachen, the necessary ballasting could be reduced to a minimum. We would be happy to assist you with the planning and design of the system.
