Trapezoidal sheet metal is an attractive option for pitched roofing for industrial halls, warehouses or agricultural buildings. In addition to its long service life of 30 to 50 years, it is characterized by its cost-effective purchase and quick installation. With its low weight, it hardly puts any strain on the roof substructure. It is also low-maintenance and insensitive to soiling.
It is just as easy to install photovoltaics on a pitched roof with trapezoidal sheet metal roofing. In most cases, lightweight short rails are fastened directly to the raised beads using appropriate screws. Self-tapping screws that are gentle on the roof skin, appropriate EPDM seals and a sufficient distance between the short rails and the roof cladding are important to ensure good rear ventilation of the modules.

With the CHRONOS trapezoidal short pieces, PV systems are mounted quickly and easily on pitched trapezoidal roofs made of steel and aluminum. They are attached using self-tapping thin sheet metal screws to protect the roof skin, while EPDM seals provide a seal between the trapezoidal sheet and the short rail.
For maximum flexibility, the CHRONOS Trapez short pieces are available in three different lengths and can therefore be installed both in and across the corrugation. With very flat trapezoidal sheet metal profiles, CHRONOS Trapez beta ensures better rear ventilation of the modules with a greater distance to the roof surface. This product variant also provides more space for module plug-in connections.
