In Dietmannsried in the Allgäu region, an interesting solar park was built directly next to the A7 motorway using the SILENOS PV mounting system from T.Werk. In two project phases, a ground-mounted photovoltaic system with a total output of 21 MWp was constructed together with our partners JF CH GmbH and SolarEnergie Allgäu GmbH & Co. KG.
Project details: SILENOS PV substructure at the Dietmannsried solar park
The total output of 21 MWp in Dietmannsried is generated by a total of 33,777 modules with an output of 623.64 Wp, which were mounted facing south at a tilt angle of 15° on the SILENOS module rails.
Further project data at a glance:
- 11,884 driven posts
- 12,982 metres total table length
- 523 module tables

SILENOS PV substructure impresses on uneven terrain
To compensate for the undulating terrain in Dietmannsried, the THEMIS compensation clamp was installed. It can continuously compensate for terrain unevenness of up to 30 degrees without interrupting the tables. THEMIS independently aligns itself to the terrain profile, eliminating time-consuming adjustment work. Installation is quick and easy using a keyhole on the crossbeam. THEMIS is supplied fully pre-assembled, which additionally saves time when installing the solar park substructure.

SILENOS PV mounting system: Safe and flexible in open-field applications
The SILENOS substructure from T.Werk stands out in particular thanks to its simple, low-maintenance system design as well as flexible adjustment and compensation options. With SILENOS, the substructure for a solar park can be installed quickly and efficiently. A cable duct integrated into the module rail additionally reduces installation effort and material requirements. SILENOS is suitable for all common modules and can be implemented as a 1- or 2-post system. The connection is flexible, whether by pile driving, on concrete foundations or with connection to gabions: with SILENOS, every ground-mounted photovoltaic system is successfully realised.
