With the Sustainability Report 2024, the RenerVest Group is publishing its first report in accordance with the voluntary VSME standard for non-listed SMEs. A clear step towards even greater transparency and responsibility. Our core mission remains unchanged: to accelerate the energy transition by developing and operating photovoltaic projects. At the same time, we want to systematically record, evaluate and disclose our own impact on the environment, society and corporate governance.
The most important points of the report in brief:
- Our PV systems generated 59.3 GWh of solar power in 2024, avoiding around 2,966 tons of CO₂ compared to the conventional electricity mix.
- Our own energy requirements are already covered 100 % by renewable sources.
- At the same time, we openly show our carbon footprint: 6,228.89 t CO₂e (Scope 1-3) as a starting point for improvements.
- Our goal: to reduce CO₂e to 5,419.13 t by 2030, with concrete measures such as electrification.
- In addition: our reforestation initiative. In future, we will plant one tree per MWh generated (plus an onboarding tree for new colleagues).
